The AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in the US has planned to have a review on works by two Iranian filmmakers.

The review session on Asghar Farhadi and Shahram Mokri’s films will be held by the AFI Silver next month.

A lineup of eight films by Farhadi, including ‘Dancing in the Dust’, ‘The Beautiful City’, ‘Fireworks Wednesday’, ‘About Elly’, ‘A Separation’, ‘The Past’, ‘The Salesman’ and ‘Eveybody Knows’ will be screened at the center.

And the selected films by Mokri are ‘Ashkan, the Charmed Ring and Other Stories’, ‘Fish & Cat’, ‘Invasion’ and ‘Careless Crime’.

Renowned American film critic Godfrey Cheshire will also speak at the event. The films will be displayed in various screening sessions during April.

“The AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center is dedicated to artists, educators and audiences of the world.

The AFI Silver presents the richness of American and world cinema, exploring all forms of the moving image in the digital era and seeing the screen itself as a source of literacy, learning and vision for the future,” the official website of the center wrote.
